This project involved the complete interior and exterior renovation of a single story Cape Cod style house. The roof was removed and a second story with 12’ high vaulted ceilings was added. This created enough space upstairs for a large bedroom, a bathroom, and an office. A large front porch was also added to the house.

The original garage was torn down and a new garage was built that matches the style of the renovated house.

Detailing is traditional with a modern slant. Gable roofs and horizontal lap siding acknowledge the context of the neighborhood while no eaves and heavy barge boards give a more modern appearance.
