Powder-coated steel winds and wraps to provide a new hand and guardrail for a residential exterior stair. The ¼” thick steel plate for the stringer provides the structure for the stair and allows the stair to span the distance between the house and deck without any intermediate posts. Stair treads and risers are stained cedar.
